The Polar Bears entertained Glasgow East Scotlands newest club on Saturday morning. An early kick off was agreed to allow both teams to watch the Italy v Scotland game. Kilmarnock scored after only 5 minutes the backs moved the ball along the line and an inside pass to John Wan Can Cairns allowed him to score near the post Daz Firth converted 7 - 0. It didn't take Killie long to registeranother try again Wan Can was on hand to take the scoring pass, conversion missed 12 - 0 after only 12 minutes. Kilmarnock went straight back on the attack and Callum Rideout entered the line from full back to score a well worked try. Kilmarnock kept the pressure on East and scored again after 20 minutes with Daz Firth getting the touch down Connor Turbull converting 24 - 0 wth five minutes of the half to play.
The second half started and Glasgow East were trying hard forcing play deep into the Killie 22, some sound defence kept them at bay. In one of the few chances Killie made in the second half Connor Turnbull scored near the posts Daz converted to extend the Killie lead 31 points to 0. With time running out a break away try by David Moffat completed the scoring 36 point to 0 . Another good performance an another fine win. Both teams retired to the clubhouse to watch a dissapointing Scotland performance. Both team enjoyed their day and have arranged another friendly for later in the season.
