Tough day at the office for KRFC u14's

GHA Lions v KRFC u14's 30/09/2018

Everything started well. We had a good warm up. The players listened intently to Dougals instructions, and we started the game great running in a great try scored and converted by Full Back Finlay Grant. After that, while showing glimpses of what we are capable of we went down 79-7.

Towards the end, heads clearly went down which is understandable. GHA were more experienced than us. But again I find myself saying the same thing - they really weren't head and shoulders above us. The rucking from us (when the referee allowed it) was good. I saw some nice tackles from everyone - mention to Ruaridh Wishart who is getting better and better at his tackling. Some good runs as usual from Laughlan, Jason and Thomas Logan.

We have to focus together at training and discuss what we are seeing and how we can emulate the same ourselves. If we can get the basics right, I'm convinced we can go on to better things together.

Fitness training on Monday night with Coach Paul, and Rugby training on Wednesday.
