Kilmarnock U15's finally wearing their new KRFC centenary strips welcomed Wigtownshire Rugby Club to Bellsland on a unusually sunny, DRY afternoon!
Within two minutes of the game kicking off, Conner McNulty our new fullback scored the 1st try of the match. Wigtonwnshire came back with a few more tries and conversions through missed tackles.. with the Kilmarnock side seeming to dip... after a 'team talk' by coach Dougal the U15's seem to gain their momentum once again, producing some really exciting rugby!
Ollie Fraser our scrum half had an outstanding game with some excellent play, tying our forwards and backs together.
1st time player for the club Callum McCrone 'frozone', scored 2 fantastic tries!
Luke O'Callaghan proved to be a force to reckon with, putting in some excellent tackling.
Today's game showed that we need to work on our tackling and positional awareness.
