Kilmarnock's U15's are BACK.. and with fire in their bellies!

It was good to be home!  After two tough defeats away the U15's seemed to have flicked the switch and found the monster inside them.
We saw today a vocal and passionate side.
With the U14's not having a match this weekend we welcomed three U14 players: Matthew Penrose, Kenzie Neilson & Laughlan Whitelaw.

First 3rd both teams fielded 14 players, where Kilmarnock set off at a storming pace. 1st TRY of the match was nicely set up by Cameron 'Tank' McGill and then off loaded by Callum Campbell to Thom Clelland. TRY! The boys heads were UP!
A flurry of Tries ensued.. Matthew Penrose (U14's), Cameron McGill, Callum Campbell, Laughlin Whitelaw (U14's).

2nd third of the match Ollie Fraser came on as our scrum half which allowed us to loan Waysiders one of our players which took both teams to 15.  Set up by our very own Laughlin Whitelaw, Waysiders got their 1st and only TRY.

It was a good game from Kilmarnock from the start.  The teams strengths were definitely in handling, fielding and some great rucking from our forwards today with Captain Luke O'Callaghan putting some great tackles in!
Cameron 'Tank' McGill made good use of his size to drive through the opposition to pick up 4 Tries! While our backs put their pace to good use.  We saw Jonathan Downey return to the team today scoring his 1st TRY of the season.  To quote Bill McLaren "He’s like a demented ferret up a wee drainpipe."

Thomas's kicking was on point with many of the tries, including his own converted.

All in all a good game for the team, a good demonstration of the hard work they've put in in the last few weeks.

A big shout out to Andrei Toft and Alexander White who played for the U16's!! Well done boys!
