Kilmarnock Rugby Football Club recently hosted a hugely successful Past Players’ Lunch on 25 October, expertly organised by Stewart Lauder with outstanding catering from Scran & Swally.

More than 80 attendees joined the occasion, including six club captains and four past presidents — Paul Guthrie, Ali McCall, David Lauder, and Bill Barnaby — creating a fantastic atmosphere of reunion and celebration.

Retrospective 100th caps were proudly presented to five past players — David Fulton, Kenny Young, Brian Yates, Derek Martin, and Hugh Hamilton — in recognition of their playing contributions to KRFC and their continued support.

All our events generate great interest and are an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday. We are hosting a Curry Lunch on 22 November, which includes a starter, main course, and rice/naan for £20 a head. On 5 December, we will also hold our Sons of Bellsland Lunch. There will also be plenty more opportunities in the new year to attend lunches and events at KRFC.
