Undefeated run continues

Killie entertained Carrick at the weekend and put in a workman like performance to keep their undefeated league run intact.
From the kick off Killie took the game to the visitors and after only 3 minutes 2nd row Andy Junior Hamilton burst over the line to open his account for the season, Graham McCue knocked over the conversion to give Killie a 7 point lead. Carrick came back at Killie but their defence held firm. Killie continued to press at every opportunity but it another 20 minute before they could increase their lead this time young Victor Murray took the scoring pass to score wide out on the right. 12 points to nil after 23 minutes. From the restart Killie won good ball and moved the ball along the backline Fraser Corrance took the ball at pace and beat his opposite number to increase Killie's lead to 17 point to 0 after 29 minutes. The half was played out the referee blowing up early with a problem with his watch??

The second half continued where the first laid off the forwards won some good ball in the middle of the park the ball was moved through the hands and that man Corrance was hand to finish off another fine try, McCue knocked over the conversion giving Killie a commanding 24 point lead after only 8 minutes of the second half. Killie wrung the changes using their full squad and it was one of those changes that was next on the score sheet Mark England taking the scoring pass to score to the right of the post again McCue converted 31 points to 0 after 52 minutes. Killie took their foot off the gas and some questionable decision making kept the scoreboard quiet for the next 10 minutes but on the 65th minute mark the floodgates opened Graham McCue scored 2 tries in quick succession converting one followed by Fraser Corrance completing his hattrick this time Ally McWhirter converted to bring up the 50 points. With time running out the evergreen Sean Pony McGuire was on hand to score wide out on the left the conversion missed and the ref blew for no side. 55 point to 0
A good bonus point win in the end, but the coaches have some work to do with harder tests to come in the next few weeks.
Man of the Match was awarded to young James McGrady playing against his former club and last weeks player of the match Steph Stewart picking up the DoD award.
